Hi! I'm Arun.
I'm a person who has always loved to imagine, create, and problem-solve. From a childhood of drawing, LEGO, puzzles, and crafting anything I could imagine out of duct tape, I often sought out ways to express my creativity and worked within the constraints of what was available to give shape to it. This creative drive led me to industrial design, and sparked my interest in the field as an opportunity to learn more advanced tools and skills to bring what I imagined to life.
As I pursued an education in design and expanded my understanding of the discipline, I learned of the design philosophy and methodologies behind creating things that are beneficial and

desirable to the humans that interact with them. I came to appreciate the value that design thinking could deliver in collaboration with any team focused on developing a product for an end user. What better way could there be to focus and apply the creative skillsets and abilities that I was working to develop?
Today, my desire to create still drives many of my activities, both personal and professional. By day, I've been fortunate to have the opportunity to offer my design skills to teams across multiple industries, from toys and games to hydraulic tools to foodservice equipment. By night, I've worked with a team of friends to design, develop, and crowdfund a party game. Outside of work, I enjoy personal hobbies such as D&D, art and illustration, board games, and sleight of hand magic. All of these in their own respects engage imagination to create and share meaningful experiences with others, which I find to be quite an enjoyable and fulfilling way to move through life.
